Why is there nobody in my bookshop on fable 2?

I decided to get some achievements on fable 2 but then realised when i went to my bookshop in bowerstone market nobody was there, i tried sleeping for several weeks, re-loading my game nothing seems to work, i would try selling then rebuying it but you can’t! Any help? Is there another bookshop?
